Sites for Housing Around Theale Proposed by West Berkshire
West Berkshire Council needs to identify sites for homes to meet targets set by the government. It has therefore identified “preferred option” greenfield sites throughout the district for consultation. Four of these are on the outskirts of Theale. Another two are nearby. The “preferred option” sites for Theale account for 313 out of the 815 identified for the eastern part of the district. Sites for more homes than are needed to meet the target are identified. This is to allow some sites to be removed as a result of the consultation.
The consultation has now closed, but please come back to see what is happening about the sites.
